Students in the Newspaper!

Literally speaking!
As you can see by the images above, students designed and made personalised garments as part of their newspaper challenge – aimed at encouraging creative thinking and teamwork within the class.

As part of the Year 10 Textiles programe, students discover how to develop skills and creativity working with fabrics. There were two categories: most original design, and best construction. This project enabled students to start thinking ‘outside the box’ to come up with innovative problem solving ideas within the construction of their garment. Dresses were made in teams of 5.
