During Alert Level 4

TEACHING & LEARNING
As you will be aware, school is now closed and New Zealand is now in COVID alert level 4. The Ministry of Education has changed the dates of the school break to begin on Monday, March 30th and end on Tuesday April 14th inclusive. There will be no organised work set over the break, although teachers may stay in touch with students. Many students will have work that has already been set, prior to the school closing, that they can complete.

On Wednesday April 15th, at the end of the school break, Green Bay High School will start the ‘Going Online’ (GO) phase of the lockdown.

To support us in moving to GO we have set out some key aims/objectives:

  • To provide a consistent flow of information to support students’ learning
  • To share how our professional lives will be structured for staff and students
  • To support parents to help us teach our students
  • To create a manageable balance for staff, students and their families
