Sir Peter Blake

Do you care about the environment and want to make a difference?

The Sir Peter Blake Trust Youth Enviro Leaders Forum is taking place in Waikato and Rotorua, from 12 – 18 April. This fully funded programme provides students with the opportunity to address topical environmental issues facing our country, such as climate change including our oceans, freshwater and biodiversity and develop strategies to address them.

Successful applicants will  further develop leadership skills while participating in outdoor activities. Participants will meet and engage with inspiring and informative speakers, including experts from the Ministry for the Environment, Sir Peter Blake Trust alumni, local and national politicians, business and community leaders, and like-minded peers. Delegates to YELF are also eligible to join future Young Blake Expeditions as student voyagers.

The Sir Peter Blake Trust was established in 2004 and is dedicated to continuing his environmental leadership legacy.
