Health Curriculum

Year 9s (Term 4)
Year 9 and Year 10 Sexuality Education at Green Bay High School takes place in Term 2 for Year 10 students, and in Term 4 for Year 9 students, as part of the Health Curriculum. We believe that all students need to both be aware of these issues, and to develop some skills on how to deal with them.

The Sexuality Education module for Year 9 students as part of the Keeping Safe unit of the Health Curriculum, is about to commence (Term 4, 2021).

Topics that Year 9 students study include:

  • Puberty and Anatomical Changes
  • Values and Decision-making
  • Safe Relationships
  • STI Information
  • Contraception
  • Puberty
  • Sex Myths
