Lock Down Drill: now over!

Emergency Procedures
Green Bay High School had a PRACTICE lock down today, Thursday 2 May, 2019.

We are pleased to inform you that our students responded safely, maturely and with a nature of controlled urgency during the planned emergency Lock Down drill.

We conducted a school-wide lock down exercise under the guidance of Harrison Tew, an independent company who specialise in Emergency Management Plans for schools. These procedures allow us to respond safely and quickly to a range of circumstances. Our entire school has participated in training sessions and the response and interaction by staff and students was very positive.

Green Bay High School will continue to implement emergency protocol exercises to ensure all staff and students remain familiar with our processes.

In a genuine incident (as well as a practice drill) should you hear of a Lock Down or evacuation at the school, please do NOT attend the school or phone us, as we will not be in a position to respond.

All updated information will be passed on to you via our school website and/or Facebook.

Once again, thank you for your support.
