Reminder – Road Safety

An amazing Road Safety programme is being held for senior students!

Year 12 and 13 students have been given the opportunity to attend a one-day RYDA Road Safety Education Programme this Tuesday and Wednesday, held at Avondale College. All Year 12 and 13 students are expected to be attend, if there are any issues regarding this, parents need to contact Deputy Principal, Sandy Begg. This program is designed for 15-18 year olds as they begin to drive or ride in cars driven by peers. The programme focuses on attitude and awareness, with the aim of equipping young adults to stay safe on our roads. We are very grateful for funding by local Rotary organisations to enable us to provide this educational programme and are the first school, that we are aware of, to offer the RYDA programme to both senior levels of students. Senior students took a letter home earlier this month, with venue and costs etc. Any questions you may have can be directed to Deputy Principal Sandy Begg, Year 12 dean Anjie Savage or Year 13 dean Rhonda Leabourn.
