It has been another busy week at Green Bay High School.  This week’s newsletter was sent out early due to the Teacher Only Day on Friday 1 June. We hope you all enjoy your long weekend – especially as it is a public holiday (Queen’s Birthday) on Monday 4 June. In this week’s issue your will see that our business studies teachers would like your input into a survey regarding Business Education at GBHS; our year 9 Whanau Hui was well attended; we received a $1000 ‘thank you’ Bunnings voucher from BCITO – read all about their innovative product launch, as reported by two of our Year 12 Media Studies students Tamsyn Curin and Olivia Picard; Congratulations to students Jess Hay & Natasha Woodacre who competed overseas in an Ice Skating championship, we are pleased to see our school values proudly on display within our community at various events by students completing their work placements and also at the Careers Expo ; and don’t forget about the Positive Parenting: MyTeen study, and the wonderful opportunities available in the AFS Student Exchange…phew, that’s just to name a few things in this week’s issue! Please click here to read our latest school newsletter!
