Compliments Week

In The Pink
Green Bay High School was in the pink today, as part of a national anti-bullying campaign, with students and staff helping to raise awareness of being bully-free. This event ran in conjunction with ‘Compliments Week’ where students and staff had the opportunity to share positive thoughts with their peers.

The goal of the Compliments Week was an initiative of students involved with the school “Live for Tomorrow’ group, aimed to spread positivity and compassion through a simple act of kindness. Students wrote anonymous compliments to each other on provided slips of paper and ‘posted’ their slips at the boxes provided in Student Reception. At the end of the week, compliments were collected and distributed to their well-deserved recipients.
