Rainbow Mufti Day

& Parade
Students involved with the PSSP group are proud to bring PRIDE WEEK to Green Bay High School (24 – 28 June) and are holding a variety of amazing activities to celebrate love and equality for all!

In the lead up to Pride Week, the PSSP group have spoken at Year level assemblies about how students can get involved to showcase what pride means to them at Green Bay High School. During Pride Week, Junior Social Studies classes will be learning about the Stonewall Riots; specially printed Pride GBT’S will be handed out by teachers; the ‘Hairspray’ movie will be playing at lunchtime in E2, and students from the Music dept are putting on a Bayfest concert!

There will also be a Pride sign competition where you can showcase GBHS PRIDE! Simply send a photo of your poster to [email protected] by Form time on Wednesday 26 June. The winner wins hot chips for their whole Form class!

The week will end with a RAINBOW Mufti day on Friday 28 June. There will be a chance to hold up your posters and signs and join the GBHS PRIDE March at lunchtime, starting from the Auditorium.

If you would like to support this cause, bring a gold coin donation. All money raised on the day will go towards OUTLine – a free and confidential LGBTIQ+ helpline offering online and face-to-face counselling specialising in gender and sexuality. The line is answered by self-accepting LGBTIQ+ people who are trained to help others in issues around sexuality and gender identity.
