Celebrating Diversity

Pride Parade & Bay Fest
Students involved with the PSSP group held a variety of activities throughout the week to celebrate Pride Week at Green Bay High School.

The GBHS PRIDE March at lunchtime today, starting from the Auditorium and making its way throughout the school grounds was bright and colourful as students showed their support of diversity and belonging.

Bay Fest was a definite highlight of the day, with the Music department showcasing their amazing talent. From the incredibly talented Jazz band, to the heavy hitting Metal by Marlo Schorr-Kon on the drums – it is clear to see Green Bay High School has some exceptionally talented young musicians in the making!

All money raised from today’s Rainbow Mufti day will go towards OUTLine – a free and confidential LGBTIQ+ helpline offering online and face-to-face counselling specialising in gender and sexuality. The line is answered by self-accepting LGBTIQ+ people who are trained to help others in issues around sexuality and gender identity.
