NZSS Premier Boys’ Tournament

Wellington Aquatic Centre
Over the term break our Premier Boys’ Water Polo team traveled to Wellington to compete in the NZ Secondary Schools Premier Boys Tournament at the Wellington Aquatic Centre. The team was given a wildcard invitation after a disappointing result at the qualifying tournament in Auckland. They completed the pool round with a 3 way tie for 2nd place, after count back the team advanced through to the Championship round and played amazingly well. They eventually played off against Kings College who proved to be a tough opponent and came away from the tournament with 6th place. The boys all represented the school really well and with six year 13 players leaving at the end of this year it was a great finish for them.
