Mates and Dates

Term 2, 2019
Green Bay High School is working in collaboration with Kidpower to deliver the Mates and Dates programme to all Year 13 students during Term 2. This is a well researched programme with extensively trained facilitators and is funded by ACC.

Year 13 students will attend one allocated session a week for 5 weeks during a study period. We have worked to ensure all students are able to participate in this programme without having to sacrifice curriculum time.

Students will be made aware of the timing and location of their sessions on Monday during their assembly. They will also receive this document via their school email account, which includes the Expected Behaviours for the sessions. These sessions are compulsory and are part of a ‘whole-school approach’ to promote health behaviour in relationships.

For more information, please access the Mates and Dates Website or view this 3 minute video from ACC.

Any further questions or concerns should be directed to Anjie Savage (Dean of Student Support and Well-Being) or Sandy Begg (Deputy Principal Student Services).
