Community of Learning

with local schools
Green Bay High School is part of the Kōtuitui Community of Learning / Kāhui Ako, a collaborative relationship between 12 local schools creating a learning community which aims to lift aspirations and raise educational achievement for every learner in our community.

The annual Year 10 Sports Studies / Primary School Sports Tournament took place on a beautiful sunny (but cold) day this week, providing the opportunity for high school and Primary students to develop and maintain stronger connections within our school community.

Green Bay High School invited local school children (Years 5 and 6) to take part in a 7 a-side Football Fever Tournament. Year 10 Sports Studies students hosted the event, organising games, refereeing, scoring, and were on hand to provide first aid assistance if required.

It was a fun and exciting day, with many families coming along to support their youngsters on the field. Prizes were awarded, including spot prizes for athletes who demonstrated Green Bay High School’s values of Excellence, Courage, Respect and Responsiveness.
