Jnr & Snr

End of Year Procedures
All JUNIOR (Year 9-10) students will be expected to complete their school clearance process during Week 8 and 9 of this term.

Junior Clearance Schedule

Each student will receive a personalised clearance form from their form teacher, which lists subjects taken during the year, and any outstanding course or subject fees. Parents and caregivers can also check student accounts via the Parent Portal or by contacting Accounts Manager: Debbie Tonkin 817-8173 ext 210.

The clearance form must then be signed off by each subject teacher as well as the library, sports coordinator, student services reception and accounts.

These forms will be handed in on Monday 10 December as part of our Amazing Race day, so students must have them with them.

In order for students to begin 2019 with a ‘clean slate’, clearance at the end of this year needs to be completed.

Any questions in regards to this process can be directed towards Deputy Principal/Student Services: Sandy Begg 817-8173 ext 216 (or) Year 10 Dean: Rhonda Leabourn 817-8173 ext 209 (or) Year 9 Dean: Chloe Marsh 817-8173 ext 211.

Senior Clearance Schedule

All SENIOR (Year 11-13) students will be expected to complete their school leaving or clearance process on 3 and 4 December. All students have had this information emailed home. Parents/caregivers are reminded to check the Parent Portal for Account balances.

This process is conducted alphabetically (by surname) and regardless of year level. Below is a list with the times students are required to report to their dean in C3 to begin procedures:

Each student will receive either a personalised clearance form or leaving form from their dean, which lists subjects taken during the year, and any outstanding course or subject fees. The clearance form must then be signed off by each subject area (by HOD or representative) as well as the library, sports coordinator, student services reception, accounts and finally the level dean.

In order for students to start 2019 with a ‘clean slate’, clearance at the end of this year must be fully completed. Failure to do this may impact on a student’s ability to take a particular subject or programme in 2019.

For Year 13, and other students who are not returning in 2019, a leaving certificate is required for entry to tertiary institutes. This will be issued after the clearance process is complete.

If students are unable to complete leaving or clearance at the allocated time, they will need to contact their dean to organise alternative arrangements.
