Anti Bullying

Mufti Day – Friday 26 May
Green Bay High School, together with the rest of the country, will be awash in a sea of pink, on Friday 26 May, during a “Pink Shirt Mufti Day” as part of a national anti-bullying campaign.

Pink Shirt Day aims to create awareness in schools, workplaces and communities regarding the need to be bully-free. Everyone has the right to feel safe, valued and respected.

Celebrated annually around the globe, Pink Shirt Day originated in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against bullying, after a peer was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school.
