We are finally on the move. From Monday all our Languages classes will be delivered from our superb new teaching block. Our friends from Oaklynn School – the Te Aratika Satellite class – will also be underway with their programme. This is the first new independent teaching block in our school since Green Bay High started and the first two-story block, and we are all very excited about this. Of course some of us are very envious as well, so the challenge ahead is to ensure that all our teaching spaces are modern learning environments. I am not very confident that yesterday’s budget announcement means much more money will be available for us to achieve this, so we will have to work smarter at reaching our goals…and we have had plenty of practice at that.
